Other Coleman ServicesIndividuals served by Coleman Behavioral Health may access the Crisis Stabilization unit when needed. Crisis Stabilization is an eleven-bed unit located in Portage County and staffed 24/7 with a variety of service providers including crisis technicians, nurses, psychiatrists, counselors and case managers.

Nursing staff is on site seven days per week for assessment, medication monitoring, treatments, teaching and coordination with psychiatrists.
Psychiatrists are available for individuals in need of medication monitoring, evaluation or consultation with primary care physicians and community psychiatrists.
Crisis Stabilization is used in a variety of ways when 24/7 supervision is needed following hospital discharge. Such as:
- Where medication adjustments and stabilization is needed
- Where assessments can be completed to quickly identify the necessary level of care
- Where individuals and families can be engaged in treatment and treatment options.
