Recovery refers to the process in which individuals are able to live, work, learn and participate fully in their communities. For some, recovery is the ability to live a fulfilling and productive life despite a disability. For others, recovery implies the reduction or complete remission of symptoms. Science has shown that having hope plays an integral role in an individual's recovery (President's New Freedom Commission on Mental Health).

Coleman Behavioral Health is a program of Coleman Professional Services, a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs that improve the lives of individuals, families and businesses in Northeast Ohio. The company relies on an enterprise business model to diversify its funding. Coleman’s foundation and three enterprise companies produce more than 25 percent of the company’s funding for its award-winning programs.
