Advisory Board
With the onset of serving approximately 1,600 individuals and employing more than 50 professionals in downtown Canton, an advisory board was created to help focus and advise management and staff at Coleman’s Canton office. While Coleman Professional Services has an existing non-profit Board of Trustees, an advisory board provides Coleman Trustees, management and staff with a “clearer” picture of the specific community needs and helps Coleman accomplish its mission. It is the intention of this advisory board to recommend specific improvements to the Canton services when applicable.
The advisory board consists of six to eight members, meets four to six times per year and helps create a clear set of directions for Stark County. This direction might include but is not limited to: procedures to advise or recommend service coordination, customer referral and outreach, public relations and marketing, fundraising, mental health advocacy and community relations.
Comments and questions are welcomed.
